You jump away from the chest and burst into a full run as the oni comes chasing. You’re so deep into your head that you don’t hear the heart beating until it’s horrible loud. That’s the goal, right? But as dig through a box quietly, you worry. The others say if you can all get out by getting these generators working that you will survive. You’ve never seen anything so fast or so full of rage. He was quick and masterful with his kanabō. A lesser soul would have succumbed seeing such a beast chasing after you. You would have never made it this far without that. It’s the good in you that keeps you pushing forward.
You’ve even been able to save people that this demon has captured! You’ve been so thankful for these moments. There’s a horrible monster that lives here. It is a place that has become filled with such darkness and hatred that there is almost an aura of horror that will not leave your soul. From other survivor’s tales, this place is a shrine on the estate of Yamaoka. That could not be said for the land that is beneath your feet. Shrines were suppose to be a place of peace.
